This has been our go-to place after church for years. The combination of excellent Pollard's chicken tenders and sides of macaroni and cheese and potato salad, and you've got a picnic in the den. Very good food, very professional service, and fast.

Every time I’m in town and have the opportunity to stop by this location I’m always impressed by their fresh fried chicken and their quick service. I don’t know that I’ve ever had a bad experience here and I highly recommend it to anyone that is in the area. Best Fried chicken in the area!

Came here because my friend told me it was the best fried chicken in town. I was not disappointed. The two piece meal was affordable and the "puffs" are real tasty.

Our experience with Pollard's has been for 25+ years. Our "go to" has always been the chicken (tenders or regular fried chicken), greens, & puffs. We especially like taking tenders out for a no-mess no-waste type picnic or getting Pollard's when we want some really good comfort food like after a long trip or a big weekend of yard work. Recommend calling ahead because fresh chicken can't be sitting there in case you stop by!

My sisters and I ordered the N C bbq granted I know it’s a chicken place but I thought it would have been at least edible it was so salty and mushy it was so nasty it was like the stuff you buy in the grocery store but saltier! After the first bite in the trash it went yuck! Love the chicken but the mashed potatoes are nasty boxed.

Very nice place to eat. Very nice people there. Very good fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, corn puff and sweet tea. Very good barbecue, french fries, cole slaw, hush puppies, corn puff and sweet tea. Really good food and nice people makes me wanna keep going back

This location is nothing compared to the va beach one. I've eaten at that one several times and its great. This battlefield store felt muggy and humid inside the fish bites where undercooked. The 2 piece dark was cooked great but no flavor. The 2 piece white the breast literally felt like a stiff piece of leather with a boiled egg scent. The breast had turned and should never have been cooked. The gravy on mashed potatoes was white and basically just a flavorless viscous liquid. The mashed potatoes where so lumpy if rather have gotten a baked potato and mashed it myself. Big fan of pollards. Won't eat at this location again

I cam back to get the piece of cake that was forgotten to be placed in my order a week ago. I placed another order with a side of sweet potato. Was asked if I wanted brown sugar and cinnamon. Said yes. Get home no topping for potatoes. I know you all were busy. But you asked me. Chicken is always good.

Ok, I love another branch of Pollard's (tidewater Dr.) Not sure why this chicken was dry and my puffs were cold!

Horrible experience here; I was told it would be a 7 minute wait, and ended up waiting 50 minutes. When I mentioned that it would be nice if they'd told me how long the true wait was, the girl behind the counter blamed slow customers and told me it's not her fault that they were busy. I tried to explain that that wasn't my point; that if the wait was going to be so long, it would be helpful to let people know in advance, but she kept that same, "not my fault" attitude and didn't apologize at all for my wait.This location has definitely dropped the ball when it comes to customer service; that's sad, because the other locations always seem to have generally friendly staff.

Just left this location, service was poor. Wrong food brought to me twice after waiting 25min. Little girl behind the counter had the audacity to tell me I've only been waiting 10min. The receipt clearly showed the time stamp from purchase until I went to ask where my food was. Needless to say never got my food but did get my money back. It's a shame because the food is good.

This place and location always 1,000% hot, fresh and fast! Customer service is beyond any food chain in the area! In the picture is a half chicken with 2 veg side and 2 fresh homemade corn muffins!!! Only for $8.99!! Gotta get it! Go check this location out! Best service hands down!

Salty... salty... salty... want to eat a piece of chicken made of salt? No. Don’t go here near close cause that’s what you get... garbage! It was so bad it got thrown out!
